1. Where do I vote?

Both of Pipestone precincts are held at St. Leo’s Catholic Church’s gymnasium located at 415 South Hiawatha Avenue.

2. Do I need to register my dog?

Yes, dog licenses are due April 1st of each year. You must provide proof of rabies vaccination before the City will issue a license. The cost is $5.00 if an animal is fixed, $10.00 if not. Puppies under 6 months of age do not need registrations.  Please stop by the City office to pick up your dog license.

3. Are dog and cat owners required by law to pick up their pet's waste?

Yes, it is required by City code. Contact City Office with a description of the problem, owner information (if known), and specify if the dog or cat is being walked or if the waste is accumulating on owner's property. If the dog or cat is loose and creating a problem off the owner's property, a description of the animal is needed, along with the area this is occurring and any owner information, if known.
