The City of Pipestone will be picking up storm branches from the most recent storms that hit Pipestone on August 17th. Please place branches on boulevard parallel to curb and under a maximum length of 5 feet by Wednesday, August 21st. The Tree branch drop site is also open 24/7 for your convenience is you would like to haul your branches; this is located on North Hiawatha.
City crews will be working on City trees, which are ones that are located on the boulevard area, which is the portion between the curb and sidewalk, as well as any trees and branches that have fallen on any other city property.
Private trees are those that are located elsewhere on a home's property and that clean-up is the responsibility of the home owner/occupant. Here is a list of Licensed Tree Trimmers if you need assistance with tree removal.
