TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Pipestone, Minnesota, will meet in the Council Chambers in the City of Pipestone, Minnesota, on the 21st day of October 2024 at approximately 6:30 p.m. to consider, and possibly adopt the proposed assessment for unpaid utilities, charges, and services. You may, prior to certification of the assessment to the County Auditor, pay the entire assessment to the City Treasurer. If the assessment is not prepaid before November 22, 2024, the rate of eight (8%) interest or a charge of $25.00, whichever is greater, will be applied to the assessment balance. The assessment will be due in full for the taxes payable 2025 calendar year.
The proposed assessment roll is on file for public inspection at the City Administrator’s office. Written or oral objections will be considered at the meeting. No appeal may be taken as to the amount of an assessment unless a signed, written objection is filed with the City Administrator’s Office prior to the hearing or presented to the presiding officer at the hearing. The Council may, upon such notice, consider any objection to the amount of a proposed individual assessment to the affected owners as it deems advisable.
