  • If the dead animal is in the street, call the Public Works Department at 507-825-3622. If the dead animal is on private property you can put it in your garbage for collection

  • Sidewalks are required, by ordinance, to be cleaned of snow and ice within a reasonable amount of time. The reasonable length of time is considered to be twenty-four (24) hours after the ending of a snowfall. If this is not done, the City may have the sidewalk(s) cleaned and the property owner assessed for this service if no payment is not received within forty-five (45) days.

  • The County of Pipestone offers free disposal of large appliances and hazardous waste. Every Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Pipestone County Recycling Center located at 718 4th Street NW in Pipestone.

  • Recycling bins can be requested by calling Pipestone Soil & Water Conservation District at 507-825-1185.

  • Tires can be taken to Midland Tire, where they are accepted for a fee which covers the cost of them being recycled.
