Safe Routes to School

PROJECT Pipestone-2025 Safe Routes to School / SP 059-591-006: 8TH AVE NW / 4TH ST NW SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOL PROJECT

The project includes for the installation of a 6-FT wide concrete trail from the intersection of 8th Ave. NW and 2nd St. NW going north along 8th Ave. NW to 121st St. and also from the intersection of 8th Ave. NE and 4th St. NE going east on 4th St. to Hiawatha Ave. the sidewalk improvements provide a link for residents in the North/Northeast side of Pipestone to the Pipestone Area K-12 School.

Grant: MnDOT Agreement No. 1060641 / SP 059-591-006 / 2023 SRTS General Fund Grant, SAAS Acct 412, 8th Ave. NW & 4th St. NW Sidewalk Improvements, Construct concrete sidewalk and ADA improvements.
