For the protection of city residents, the City of Pipestone City Code requires all arborist who prune, treat, or remove trees to obtain a license from the City Clerk annually with the exception of any recognized public service company or city employee doing such work in the pursuit of their public service endeavors.
License holders shall at all times during the term of their city license hold a certificate of public liability insurance policy with amounts no less than $300,000 for bodily injury and $300,000 for property damage, indemnifying the city of any person injured, or damage resulting from the pursuit of such endeavors.
